Alaska is sensible one of the pack, she is very intelligent, learns quickly, has a serious attitude to working and she is extremely obedient.
She is the also the couch potatoe of the sledge world and is ever busy doing nothing. Her favorite past time being crate hopping LOL. That said, she soons springs into action the minute the leads or the bike comes out.
She is an extremely loyal and loving member of our family and is not fussed about attention from outsiders which is great as the other dogs rarely get a look in with Mala about. She does, however, think all visitors have come to feed her treats and to rub her belly LOL.
Laska is a joy to own and live with. She has some excellent qualities that she passes on to her offspring, including excellent tailset and carriage, nice earsets and size, good bones and muscle, correct coat. We also think Alaska is a prime example of how beautiful the malamute can be in a colour other than the well known Wolf grey.
